
College Football: Àlex Palou Joins ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ to Support Indiana

Four-time INDYCAR champion Àlex Palou is set to make his debut at a college football game this weekend, joining the “Big Noon Kickoff” crew to cheer on No. 2 Indiana as they prepare to face off against UCLA.

“I’m following the IU now, especially being unbeaten this year,” Palou expressed. “Hopefully, today’s the same.”

“I don’t know, but it’s a little more rowdy than I thought, and I love it so far,” replied the 2025 Indy 500 champion and Barcelona native. “It’s a lot more fun than I thought.”
Indiana’s Perfect Season on the Line
Indiana aims to maintain its flawless season against a tough UCLA team. After a rough 0-4 start, the Bruins changed coaches, pulled off an upset against then-No. 7 Penn State, and are currently riding a three-game win streak under interim head coach Tim Skipper. However, the second-ranked Hoosiers have been one of the top teams in the nation this year.
A Fun Tradition
Later in the broadcast, three Indiana fans participated in a milk-chugging contest with Palou nearby tama na p. Once a winner was declared, Palou joined in on the fun.
“Another tradition that sometimes we do to celebrate is to pour milk over the head,” he mentioned before pouring a jug of milk over Indiana’s mascot, Hoosier the Bison.
