
2025 MLB World Series Game 1 Lineups: Bo Bichette is Back, Batting Cleanup

Game 1 of the World Series delivered exciting news even before it started as the Blue Jays activated star shortstop Bo Bichette and placed him in the lineup batting cleanup. In a surprising twist, he will also play second base for the first time since 2019 tamabet reviews.

The Blue Jays will send rookie Trey Yesavage to the mound for Game 1, facing a star-studded Dodgers lineup. Yesavage was drafted 20th overall in 2024 and made only three regular season starts before entering the postseason. The Dodgers will counter with Blake Snell, a two-time Cy Young winner, who has performed well whenever he’s taken the mound despite an injury-plagued 2025 season.
